The main objectives of the Sangha, inter-alia, included uplifttment of downtrodden community members by promoting social, cultural and educational activities and also to promote universal brotherhood, unity and co-operation among the people in general.

Over the years the Sangha has been active particularly in the educational fields by awarding scholarships to large number of students of our community.

We are proud to say here that many of the recipients of our Sangha's scholarships are presently well off holding responsible positions in the society as well as in their professional careers.

We are also happy to say that after achieving greater success, some of them have come forward to serve the Sangha; few of them are presently also serving the Sangha.

 Thus, the purpose of awarding scholarships by Sangha has, indeed, benefitted our community in particular and society in general.

They have become the torchbearers to others.
